My passion for writing doesn’t come only from years of experience in publishing, teaching, and earning my PhD; it was forged in the depths of my own journey, marked by both triumphs and trials. I have walked through seasons of insecurity, and I have also walked through profound grief, unexpectedly losing my mother, and one year later, unexpectedly losing my husband. In those moments, life felt loud, heavy, and uncertain… and yet God was still speaking.

For me, writing became more than a skill. It became a refuge. A form of obedience. A way to breathe again. And at the same time, grief required something else too: a safe place to be held, to heal, and to let God meet me with grace when words were hard to find.

Along the way, I sought out writing coaches who offered invaluable wisdom. Yet I often found myself longing for something more, someone who understood the storms I was facing, someone who could offer both practical guidance and spiritual guidance. That longing is part of what birthed Sapience Atelier, Called to Write Mentorship, and The Kingdom Writer Collection and it’s also what gave rise to Anchored In Grace: Grief & Grace Support, a faith-centered space created especially for widows and widowers with grieving hearts, carrying the weight of a significant loss, , and Anchor & Grace Co., a resource company offering faith-centered grief resources and practical support tools to help you navigate loss with authenticity, hope, and steady grace.

It would be my honor to walk alongside you, whether you’re trying to finish the book God placed in you, shape your message with excellence, bring your scholarship to the world, or simply learn how to live again after the loss of a spouse. I want you to know you are not alone. I have seen firsthand how God honors the obedience of a willing heart, and how He brings beauty from places that once felt broken.
